Amanda Chalmers
Amanda creates unique and bespoke jewellery and small silverware using a combination of sterling silver, 9ct and 18ct gold. In her creating, she uses contrasting textures and shapes as well as colours through oxidisation, the mix in metals and use of semi-precious stones.
Amanda works from her own workshop, based in Brighton, where she gained a diploma in Wood, Metals, Plastics and Ceramics at Brighton University with a strong emphasis on creating wearable jewellery. She is a graduate in Gem-A’s Foundation in Gemmology, which she studied whilst living in Switzerland.
