Amber Halsall
In 1995 I gave up full time work to focus on my art. After a fine art degree at Canterbury I became interested in botanical art. An eye for the quirky side of plants inspires my work.
Since 2004 I have been a member of Society of Botanical Artists, currently serving on the council.
My style has evolved over the last 5 years and current work focuses on movement and composition within the picture space. I also experiment with a variety of materials, not all of which are traditionally used for botanical art.
I teach Botanical Art at the Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge Adult Education Centres. I also run workshops and give private lessons in the local area.
