Claire Gill
Claire’s artwork comprises a collection of limited edition Seascape and Treescape prints. These are constructed, poetic landscapes, which sit visually between photography and painting hopefully transporting the viewer to a tranquil place. Claire uses a digital collage approach in Photoshop, digitally cutting out and layering details from photographs she has taken. It is a slow, iterative process, which allows her to discover new scenes, but retain a sense of the places that inspired them.
