Felicity Flutter RI, SGFA
Throughout her painting career, Flic has been fascinated by the challenge of painting water. Since moving closer to the coast over a decade ago, she has become preoccupied with light, colour and movement in the waves that she photographs along our beautiful English coastlines. She aims to capture these elusive subjects in watercolours, with layers of translucent paint combined with graphite and Nero pencils. Recently she has painted a series of smaller artworks concentrating on close up details.

In 2022, Flic was elected as a full member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours based at the Mall Galleries in London and in 2024 was elected to Council as Honorary Secretary. She is also a member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art and the Wilderness Art Collective.
