Jen Miles
Jen completed an MA in Illustration and worked in the field for many years. More recently, she decided to indulge her passion for painting animals full time. Inspired by Japanese art and golden age illustrators, she paints animals wild and domestic, ones she sees locally as well as creatures from far away. Unashamedly decorative, Jen uses pigment heavy watercolour and high carat gold leaf, with fine pen for detail. Frames are often from flea markets and she restores and create pieces to fit them.
