Sue Davis
Sue is a painter, working mainly with oil, mixed media and collage. Her work is driven by an engagement with her materials and the excitement of experimentation with what materials, paint, ink, paper for example, can do. This could be described as ‘process driven’ and it lends itself well to painting the abstract works that she enjoys making. Sue feels that this approach allows her to play with all the elements of a painting that excite her, colour, pattern and composition.
