Tessa's work is underpinned by a strong graphic sensibility. Lines, edges and colour are intrinsic to her image making. Her subject matter is often inspired by the place she inhabits. She is always intrigued by how a landscape 'works'; how the terrain (both man-made and natural geographic features) shapes the reading of the space; how the natural elements can alter the atmosphere and experience of 'place'. These are key ingredients.
