Will Taylor
Will is an artist and printmaker based near Rye. He exhibited at the Cranbrook Art Show in 2004, 2006 and 2008, and is delighted to return for the 2025 30th Anniversary Show. His work includes intaglio printmaking, oil painting and charcoal drawings. Animals and the natural world still figure prominently in his work and this has evolved to includes places and scenes both local and around the world. All are linked by a printmaker’s view of the world. The prints have a traditional feel: they are typically copper plate, hardground etchings using only line and cross-hatch in monotone to create a range of tones.
Will is a member of the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) and the Society of Graphic Fine Art (SGFA) exhibiting in galleries in Sussex, Kent and London. He has been a regular contributor to the Mall Galleries, Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Bankside Gallery and the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. He has work in various collections, including the V&A Permanent Print Collection.
